PrideAlive takes action wherever action is found! You will find us at bars, chat rooms, public parks, and anyplace else where guys meet guys, giving you information, safer sex supplies, and whatever knowledge you need to make your next hot encounter as safe as possible.

We bring HIV testing to you.

Knowledge is power, and when it comes to knowing your HIV status, nothing is more important than getting accurate information from people who care. Throughout the year, you’ll find PrideAlive OUTreach workers in your favorite queer bars and coffee shops providing free HIV testing. If you can’t find us around town, we’ll schedule time to meet with you at the MAP AIDSLine office, so you can get tested when it’s convenient for you.

We publish hard-hitting, controversial materials that speak the truth about queer health.

PrideAlive produces the most up-to-date publications on queer health in Minnesota. Whether it’s Shameless, our sexual health newsletter, or OutSight, our community-written creative ‘zine, we’ll grab your attention and keep you informed and entertained. We even maintain the Tom Lindsay Library, a resource center and lending library that is open to the entire community. Inside the Lindsay Library, you’ll find books, DVDs, videos, magazines and brochures – both published by PrideAlive and materials published by other organizations – that are available to help you answer any questions you’ve ever had about HIV, STDs or about what it means to be QUEER.
