Rob GrahamHealth Education Coordinator Rob has been involved with PrideAlive since May 2010. He has worked at the Urban League as the program coordinator for the Community PROMISE program, a CDC funded project to reach African-American men who have sex with men to increase condom use. Using role model stories created by program peers, Rob coordinated recruitment of new volunteer peers, training in HIV/STD risk and transmission, connection to health care, development of new role model stories, and outreach with volunteers to distribute the stories with safer sex kits in venues frequented by African-American MSM. Rob brought stability and organization to the program as well as skill in organizing the Urban League’s World AIDS Day events and volunteer appreciation events. |
Andy BirkeyHealth Education Coordinator Andy has been involved with PrideAlive since early 2002, first as a volunteer and then as a Health Educator beginning in April, 2003. Andy was a member of the Minnesota AIDS Walk Steering Committee for three years, past co-chair of the University of Minnesota Queer Student Cultural Center, and has served on many boards and advisory positions related to LGBT health. In addition to his work at PrideAlive he is also a freelance journalist writing about LGBT community issues, politics and health care. He currently resides in Minneapolis. |
Aaron BrosierHealth Education Coordinator Aaron began his involvement with PrideAlive as an intern in 2004 and transitioned as a staff member in January 2007. Aaron Graduated from Macalester in May 2007 with a B.A. in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. At Macalester Aaron was actively involved in their queer community working with their Queer Union and LGBT Task Force. Aaron's future goals include a Master's in Social Work, continuing his involvement in queer communities. He resides in Minneapolis, MN. |
Cordell Klier Graphic Media Designer / Health Educator Cordell’s been with PrideAlive since September 2005. Notorious for his spoken-word / glitch / drone music and abstract visual art, Cordell is also a music producer (20 years) and runs the recording label DOCTSECT Media. In 2005 Klier was a leading founder of the TCAC (Twin Cities Artist Collective), and from 2006 thru 2008 was the head curator at theARThouseParty in MPLS. Aside from his work as an internationally published sound & visual artist, he continues his main output as a digital designer (18 years) for PrideAlive, Minnesota AIDS Project, many other LGBT community partners, as well as bands & publications worldwide. Cordell's biggest passion is being a community beacon for sexual, gender, racial, spiritual, political, rank, & cultural tolerance, with a healthy slab of inner peace. Currently resides in Lowertown St. Paul, MN. In 2009 Cordell's is involved in small group motivational speaking, creative consulting for small business owners, and life-couching. |
